Restoring loxx can be a lengthy and tedious process depending on the individual need of the client. Therefore, a consultation is required for this appointment to determine if loxx can be restored and/or the duration and the cost for your service. A restoration can include detachment and reattachment of dreads, combining or separation of dreads, and/or some detangling of matted loxx as well as shampooing and treating scalp/loxx.

This service focuses on maintaining the roots of your locs using the interlocking method. Interlocking involves weaving the end of each loc through the root in a precise pattern to tighten and secure new growth. This technique helps maintain a neat appearance, reduces frizz, and promotes long-lasting hold between maintenance sessions.

This appointment cannot be booked without a prior consultation with your loc provider. Micro Loxx and Sisterlocks share similar appeals but are different in a few ways. "Sisterlock" is a patented technique that uses a slightly different method to install these very small locks and also requires special training and certification in order to perform this service. Microlocks, on the other is not patented, can be installed using various methods, does not require any special certification to install, and is not as precise as its latter.

Here are the two primary methods for starting regular loxx. If you want an instant, small, or micro option, simply select it from the available service options on the site. For basic starter loxx, it’s essential that the locs fall within the small-medium to medium-large size range. Anything outside of these specifications will be classified as a different type. A consultation is mandatory for this service.

Removing locs with completely cutting them off is possible. It just takes time! Based on the age and length of your locs determines the amount of time it takes. This is an hourly service that starts at $150 and is $75/ hour after the first 2 hours. Consultation must preceed scheduling this service.
